I am the owner and operator of Randy J Seeley Electrical Contactors. I have had experience in the electrical
trade since 1979, am a Master Electrician and have run my business full time since 1995. If you are looking for
a licensed, qualified, dedicated and dependable electrical contractor, I ask that you please contact me. I would
be more than happy to answer any questions, discuss any additional information or provide an estimate for
your electrical needs. My number one priority is that I like to provide individual customer service and offer my
knowledge to better assist you in your understanding of the options offered for your electrical job.
To give you some history on me and my business, I am the sole owner and operator of this company and
currently have one full time employee. I guess as long as I can remember I have always puttered and got my
hands into fixing and trying to make things work. Even as a small boy I was into tinkering with things and the
mechanics of them, but I guess my true electrical bug started when I was in the 9th grade and taking electrical
classes at my high school. I so much enjoyed the challenging and fun way my teacher taught the subject that I
decided to enter the county vocational program at the high school for electrical construction and have ever
since been working in this trade.
After graduating high school and starting out in the field I worked with a local commercial contractor who was
very determined that his employees better themselves with furthering their knowledge and education in the
trade. It was pretty much mandated that his employees would take a four year apprenticeship program and
pass the testing to become a Master Electrician. At that age I never knew what kind of future he was trying to
give us later down the road or what a mentor he would be, but because of his determination to have qualified
staff it was also shown to be for the betterment of my future in the trade and for when the time came when I
was to become an owner for myself as well. That contractor also held a strong belief of high quality work and
pride in workmanship which could only trickle into the working ethics of the staff that elected to stay with his
company. Because of the many years working with that company in the trade, it made me a better electrician. It
also gave me the ability and understanding to have a quality operation dedicated to making sure the job is done
correctly and professionally for the customer when the time came for me to operate my own business.
My business offers service to both residential and commercial clients. I work in Carroll County, Baltimore
County, Howard County, Frederick County and other surrounding Maryland areas. For many years I have been
a local staple in Carroll County and am currently appointed by the Carroll County Commissioners to the Carroll
County Electrical Licensing Board. As a young electrician with that commercial contractor I worked on many of
the schools in Carroll County and since being on my own worked for the County Airport, Southern States
Cooperative, Mid Atlantic Farm Credit and many of the local businesses in the area. In the residential field I have
completed electrical designs and wiring for new custom home construction, upgrades and remodeling of home
additions, rewiring of 100+ age homes, outside buildings/barns as well as providing service to install ceiling
fans, receptacles and emergency work from storm damage. I am well versified in the trade and would to the
best to my knowledge provide you information on any of your electrical needs as well as any references to
work I have provided customers in the past.
I also expect from my employee to provide the same professional and high quality work that I was taught to
give clients from my past mentor. In being on the Carroll County Electrical Licensing Board I also try to be part of
the system to see that our future electricians have the knowledge to provide safe work to code as well giving
me the ability to give back to the community that has been so good to me.
I appreciate you taking the time to review my website and reading what Randy J Seeley Electrical Contractors
has to offer and hope that you decide to contact me and let me help you with any of your electrical needs.
